Said he wasn’t going to get into the injuries and he is on the mend… doesn’t sound too earth shattering bad

Nice little wrinkle that had slipped my mind…
“Following cutdowns, the Raiders can claim any player who was waived by their previous team. The claiming deadline is Monday, August 31 at 10 a.m. PT. At that time, waiver wire claims will be awarded to the team with the highest waiver priority. For the first three weeks of the season, the NFL waiver order will use the first-round draft order, which means the Raiders are first for waiver requests.”
Edit: I asked “Perplexity” to help me make this. It created the list and I had it bold any and all WR/DT/OL
Possible cuts or moves
Bears: RB Roschon Johnson.
Bengals: McKinnley Jackson (DT) and Kris Jenkins (DT).
Bills: Edge Michael Danna, Mecole Hardman (WR/returner), and S Geno Stone.
Browns: Cedric Tillman (WR) and QB Dillon Gabriel.
Buccaneers: OLB Chris Braswell.
Chargers: LB Junior Colson.
Chiefs: CB Kristian Fulton — more likely a trade candidate than an outright release.
Cowboys: QB Sam Howell, edge Sam Williams, and Jonathan Mingo (WR).
Dolphins: Tutu Atwell (WR).
Eagles: QB Andy Dalton and CB Kelee Ringo.
Giants: Odell Beckham Jr. (WR), Jalin Hyatt (WR), and RB Tyrone Tracy Jr.
Patriots: James Hudson (OL) and LB Chad Muma.
Raiders: QB Aidan O’Connell — also a possible trade candidate.
Steelers: LB Malik Harrison, RB Kaleb Johnson, and Broderick Jones (OT).
Titans: QB Will Levis.
49ers: Christian Kirk (WR).
Vikings: QB J.J. McCarthy — a speculative trade candidate, not a likely outright cut.
Repeat-report watchlist
• QB Will Levis, Titans
• RB Kaleb Johnson, Steelers
• Odell Beckham Jr. (WR), Giants
• Cedric Tillman (WR), Browns
• McKinnley Jackson (DT), Bengals
• Edge Sam Williams, Cowboys
• CB Kristian Fulton, Chiefs

I had high hopes for Ringo. Was a bit pissed when the Raiders took Jakorian Bennet in the 4th and the Eagles moved up that round for Ringo.GoodTimeCharlie wrote: Tue Aug 25, 2026 4:23 pm Nice little wrinkle that had slipped my mind…

He hasn't quite panned out in Philly. Really inconsistent. Takes quite a few penalties too. Frustrating part is he shows glimpses that he can be good.

Kris Jenkins would surprise me, but just looking that Bengals DT room is pretty crowded.GoodTimeCharlie wrote: Tue Aug 25, 2026 4:23 pm Nice little wrinkle that had slipped my mind…

That’s a player worth taking a flyer on with a conditional mid/late round pick

Yeah, that’s what caught my eye the most. I think that’s our biggest hole at the moment. WR room may not actually lack talent. Experience, definitely, but there may be talent there. I can’t say the same about the collection of DTs. That room lacks talent. OLine has had a lot of draft value thrown its way the last couple of years like the WRs. May not be 1st rounders, but it’s not like the position has been as neglected as DTs. That’s where I see our 1st in line waiver choice goin’.silverandblack35+ wrote: Wed Aug 26, 2026 5:52 am Kris Jenkins would surprise me, but just looking that Bengals DT room is pretty crowded.

I wouldn’t mind kicking the tires on Kirk. One of my favorite Aggies. Last 2 years he’s been dealing with injuries.

No anonymous sources. First hand account of what they saw and how the team reacted when the injury happened. No speculation on the extent of the injury, just a recounting of what they experienced as spectators.
