Or they have a target to pick up this weekRaider_Dave wrote: Sun Aug 30, 2026 5:19 pm Would seem they are pretty confident he'll be ready week one. If not we are going into the season with only 2 RBs and one is Laube.

I honestly don't mind Laube as a pure receiver back.Raider_Dave wrote: Sun Aug 30, 2026 5:19 pm Would seem they are pretty confident he'll be ready week one. If not we are going into the season with only 2 RBs and one is Laube.

My son said he saw Jeanty walking on the field at the 49s game with no boot or wrap on his ankle/leg.
Anyone confirm?

Yes, that is from the official Raiders website. If you look closely, there looks to be a light wrap/sleeve on his right ankle. My guess is he just misses week 1 or is limited.

This is why I grew sour on Meyers. If he doesn't no-effort whiff on that block, Jeanty is gone. He was doing stuff like that all season.

This may be an unpopular opinion, but I think NFL teams should be required to give real updates on the injury status of players. First of all because as fans, we want to know how our star players are doing. Secondly, and more importantly is because it does affect the gambling odds in sports betting. I could see how the odds could be purposely manipulated by unscrupulous actors very easily if injuries arent fully disclosed prior to the actual games.

There are disclosure rules on injuries but they don’t apply to preseason. I think teams are fined fairly often, though the fines probably aren’t large enough.rich72 wrote: Mon Sep 07, 2026 3:52 pm This may be an unpopular opinion, but I think NFL teams should be required to give real updates on the injury status of players.
