Oh man, the refs don't call that blatant hold on Kelce on the Chiefs first TD. It was right in front of one refs face. That's ominous... They're gonna be even more blatant this year boys

When it comes to being able to run the ball it should come as no surprise to anyone the usual stat line year after year. So far week one, the top ten rushing teams, 9 out of 10 won their games. The commanders were the only team with a loss but they ended up losing to the eagles.
Bears
Chiefs
Ravens
49ers
Lions
Giants
Jets
Eagle
Commanders
Raiders
The bottom ten teams this week...
Bucs
Browns
Bills
Chargers
Dolphins
Cowboys
Titans
Packers
Broncos
Steelers
8 out of 10 lost their games and only 2 out of the 10 won. The bills and the unbelievable Josh Allen was one of them and the Steelers playing at home with only 58 rushing yards beat the Falcons. This is nothing new and why when you go back and look at past seasons the teams in the top 10 you see the pattern immediately. Most teams in the top 10 won lots of games and the bottom 10 the majority lost lots of games.
It's not exact obviously but having the ability to be a dominate rushing team cures so many ills. It's why Kubiak has pointed this very thing out immediately more than a time or two. And though things could change, does anybody look at the broncos backfield with Harvey and Dobbins and think what a scary combination they are?

Did Denver get exposed as the latest overhyped playoff prospect?

Absolutely. You run the ball, then you stop the run. Do that and you will win the majority of your games.16 to 88 wrote: Mon Sep 14, 2026 10:10 pm When it comes to being able to run the ball it should come as no surprise to anyone the usual stat line year after year. ...I had that exact same thought when they showed the current play caller calling the plays , and with the results on the field.....
...that one particular smug payton look, with the pursed lips, is an especially punchable one....

....i will say this, at some point, as the opponent continues to pile on the points, it does get to a point where you should back off of the whole, how 'loaded' they are, stuff, at least until next time.....

What really stood out to me about Denver last night is how bad their defense looked.
That was some of the very worst tackling I've seen in a long time...and there's no way to sugarcoat it.

Last year they played mediocre to bad for three quarters then pulled 6-7 wins out of their ass in the 4th. They were completely unprepared to play in that game yesterday. Mahomes even looked like shit but the Denver defense was just completely unprepared, unwilling and had no desire. Wild to see. Their coaching was awful. Everyone and their momma knew the Chiefs were gonna come out and run the ball and Denver just sleepwalked. Their offense had zero rhythm & also no desire. That whole team looked hung overAttyla wrote: Tue Sep 15, 2026 3:21 am Did Denver get exposed as the latest overhyped playoff prospect?

People under estimate that flight from Denver to KC!Goodtimes333 wrote: Tue Sep 15, 2026 8:14 am Last year they played mediocre to bad for three quarters then pulled 6-7 wins out of their ass in the 4th. They lose a whole hour.
No wonder they were late to tackle.

Yeah dude, she was looking all types of fine during that game, especially with those specs on. They honestly should have just had her on the screen majority of the time as it was undoubtedly a more pleasant watch than the Chargers.ELCAraiderfan wrote: Mon Sep 14, 2026 6:51 pm She's ok. I give her about a 8.5-9 maybe. Now if you really want to see a 10 genetic lottery hit then take a look at the French girl who has been blowing up the internet with her dance videos....damn she is gorgeous! A perfect face
Amendment to Madison Beer comment. The picture presented in this topic does not do her justice. I was watching the charger game to get an idea of what the Raiders will be facing next week.....and they showed Madison in the stands and DAMN! Yes she hit the genetic lottery, wasn't sure those laces were going to be able to hold them in if she took a deep breath
but, since we are on the topic of football players and their female companions, Josh Allen certainly wins this discussion when it is all said and done. Hailee Steinfeld is a certified dime.
