Sometimes you don't have a choice, injury or literally no one else worth mentioning that would ever start above your top pick. We do have a pretty good series of circumstances to let this breath a little. The oline keeps it up for a couple more weeks, I'm all about getting him out there. I really don't even want to see if Kirk can will a lot of games, I'm all in on seeing a more modern day Franchise QB play for us before I die. That's what we signed up for with the first pick. I have patience if it makes sense.
I get that notion. I am not too worried about him getting gun shy if he gets hit. He survived Cal just fine. I am actually more interested in getting that football IQ out there so we accelerate the process, but I don't want him getting David Carr'd. I also think the left side of the line showed that they are ready for prime time. The right side seemed equally up to the task. I know the sample size is small and it was Miami but it was also encouraging.

Fernando is 230lb, he doesn't need to put on weight. At the combine im pretty sure he weighed in at 238 or something like that. (234) People in attendance were saying he looked Josh Allen size. He's somewhere in-between that 225-235 and that's fine. He's a big dude

I think it means he isn’t arrogant and knows he needs to learn. That can be done on the field also. I have a feeling a similar phrase will be uttered by him his entire career

he could use about 20 pounds of girth to sustain the punishment. Think Rothlesburger frame

What does this mean exactly? What stops will they be pulling they normally wouldn’t?

I think he and Big Ben were nearly the same weight and height coming out of college. Same frame. We will see if he adds on in the next year or so like Ben did

Ben getting sacked kind of reminded me of Gulliver's Travels.

Shades of Jimmy G. In fact, he also had shades of Smith throwing into coverage.

I'm so sick of dumb QB turnovers. From Minshew to Geno and the randoms in between. The main kick in the nuts from that Miami game was those two picks. They were awful, just baaad
