Around the NFL
No clue where to post some stuff not necessarily team related but could be? Feel free to delete if this belongs somewhere else.
Maxx and Parsons would be nasty. I probably wouldn’t pay the price though.

Washington bounces outside because our guards suck.
Jeanty sucks in the A gap because the guards suck but he doesn't bounce outside, he gets tackled for a loss.

Plus , if his best runs are because he bounces it outside, isn’t that the right thing to do?Rabidraider wrote: Wed Oct 07, 2026 11:57 am Washington bounces outside because our guards suck.

Oh here we go, one guys great and the other is terrible, never more nuanced when it's always more nuanced.mranquales wrote: Wed Oct 07, 2026 11:34 am He's not. He's voluntarily deciding to bounce outside because he lacks vision to run between the tackles. Kubiak sees this and has since changed his playcalling to adapt to that in the second half of the KC game. I suspect Washington to get toss/sweeps exclusively unless Jeanty can't play.
Washington has been terrible in the passing game so far. That's another reason why he doesn't split carries evenly. No one is holding Washington back; he just has major flaws in his game that caused the present result in his role.

Does anyone know if there was actually cents on that original fine? Because what an odd ball amount.

We can agree to disagree on TD. That's fine.Attyla wrote: Wed Oct 07, 2026 11:56 am Davis is in the hall because of his body of work. He was other worldly before the injury. And no, I am no playing semantics. You told us how it is almost a lock that you have to be a first rounder to be set apart.
My statement: "The best RB's, past and present, are almost always exclusively drafted in the top 50."
What about what I stated wasn't objectively true?
Marcus Allen, first round, pick 10
Jim Brown, first round, pick 6
Barry Sanders, first round, pick 3
Walter Payton, first round, pick 4
Emmitt Smith, first round, pick 17
LaDainian Tomlinson, first round, pick 5
Eric Dickerson, first round pick, 2
Marshall Faulk, first round, pick 2
Adrian Peterson, first round, pick 7
Gale Sayers, first round, pick 4
These are the consensus best running backs of all time. It's not debatable.
This idea that you can get the "best running backs in the later rounds" is objectively false. Even the best running backs currently are all top 50 picks (except one if you include James Cook).
Simply typing "you made shit up" and having your cult dap you, doesn't make it true. And yea, you made shit up again and yea
The point isn't that it's good or bad, I am explaining the logic in why Kubiak may not trust Washington to have a heavier load. Also, if Washington CAN'T run between the tackles because he simply lacks the vision, that could be a problem.Trainnvain wrote: Wed Oct 07, 2026 12:05 pm Plus , if his best runs are because he bounces it outside, isn’t that the right thing to do?

Jeanty had double Washington's YPC. Our blocking can be better, but it may be a talent/vision issue on Washington's part.

And Mike Washington Jr. has recorded 3 pass targets through the first four games of the 2026 NFL season with the Las Vegas Raiders
Ashton Jeanty has recorded 24 targets
I hope the fuuck he has more YPC!!!

They round up or down to the nearest whole number. Fines are based on a formula agreed upon by the NFL and NFLPA.SkullCrusher wrote: Wed Oct 07, 2026 12:11 pm Does anyone know if there was actually cents on that original fine? Because what an odd ball amount.

He's also going to be a diva so good luck to whoever drafts him.RI RAIDER wrote: Wed Oct 07, 2026 9:25 am I am usually not a fan of Ohio State players. Smith is going to be a BEAST. Dare I say, he has the potential to be the best WR in football in his first year (he is that good).

QB fever will set in by draft dayDanKD wrote: Wed Oct 07, 2026 11:11 am Im not sure its shaping up to be a top end qb draft so far. A lot of disappointing seasons so far ala last year. Itll be better than laat year overall but not at all living up to the hype at this point.

I finally gave up and blocked him AttylaAttyla wrote: Wed Oct 07, 2026 11:56 am Davis is in the hall because of his body of work. He was other worldly before the injury. And I included older guys because they competed against teams that were focused on the run. In your argument, You are actually weakening your point because of the devalue of the RB. I included a lot of guys who played during the value age of the position.
And yea, you made shit up again and yea, you completely missed my point because you have tunnel vision any time someone questions you. But carry on, you grow tiresome so quickly.

Because of the rookie cap, they will fly off the boards based on the potential and the lowered riskDanKD wrote: Wed Oct 07, 2026 11:11 am Im not sure its shaping up to be a top end qb draft so far.
