No clue where to post some stuff not necessarily team related but could be? Feel free to delete if this belongs somewhere else.
Maxx and Parsons would be nasty. I probably wouldn’t pay the price though.

An excerpt from free article:
The Houston Texans are in on Marvin Harrison Jr., and they should be the team that lands him. Houston has held trade talks with the Arizona Cardinals and is square in the mix for Harrison, according to ESPN’s Adam Schefter and Ian Rapoport. Arizona has already told Harrison he will be inactive Sunday, and Schefter reported no deal will be completed until after Sunday’s games.
C.J. Stroud saw this coming more than two years ago. “I think I would love to play with him again,” Stroud said in April 2024, before Harrison had played an NFL snap. In 2022, Stroud’s last season as Ohio State’s starter, Harrison caught 77 passes for 1,263 yards and 14 touchdowns.

CJ and MHJ both need to turn their narratives around. The Texans are the one team that really has nothing to lose by taking a chance on MHJ. He and CJ brought out the best in each other in college, maybe that connection and attitude could be the boost that both sides need. IMO, MHJ would not be the piece to bring better success to the Raiders.Atlasffa wrote: Sat Oct 10, 2026 1:30 pm Link to article about CJ and MHJ reunion:

A 2nd rounder for MHJ is a steal. Texans' offense is looking nasty with Nico Collins and Marvin Harrison Jr on the other side. They just need a running back, and they easily have a top 5 offense.

I think Arz is putting all these rumors out trying to drive the price up on Houston. My guess is a 3rd next draft or a 2nd the following year. Not both.

Doing some digging and the separation thing seems like it’s more the cardinals than him. He’s insanely one dimensional in that offence. Something like 48% of his routes are go and posts. His win rates and separation on horizontal breaking routes are actually pretty good. He’s something 80th + percentile.Attyla wrote: Sat Oct 10, 2026 12:57 pm Well, I am going to temper my comments a bit because might mouse was throwing him the ball. But in his first two years he has been without a doubt bust material. Not quite 900 yards his first year, he dipped last year by about a third. When he is targeted, he is best when he gets pressed at the line of scrimmage. But teams know this so they are lining up off to negate that. And it has worked. As mentioned, he has no interest in run blocking and he is often lazy to the ball when he is thrown off shoulder allowing the defender to slide inside to swat the ball way. He has straight line speed and demonstrated it on a 60 yard TD play but his hips are pretty ridged so he is not great on plays where he is asked to make cuts.
The biggest thing he has going for him is a change of venue. Someone needs to light a fire under him because he is currently WR2 or 3 on most teams.
The Cardinals however, don’t use him for that. He’s basically just running deep balls against off coverage all day and just doesn’t see the ball. And it’s predictable too… for the most part when you play the cards you know exactly what you’re going to see from MHJ.
Not saying it’s all Arizona, just that the advanced analytics kind of make it look like it’s largely Arizonas terrible usage of him. Looks like if you give him more variety than “go deep” he’s actually not bad at separating.

I’m seeing…raider_kin wrote: Sat Oct 10, 2026 11:06 am We only have 5 picks in 27, so...
PS anyone have a clue about potential comp picks? I know, talking about the draft but not in a bad way![]()
Round 1, Pick #13 overall
Round 2, Pick #45 overall
Round 3, Pick #77 overall
Round 4, Pick #115 overall
Round 5, Pick #150 overall
Round 6, Pick #194 overall
As to the compensatory picks, the only possibles (I think) were Parham and Carlson. I think Parham is canceled out with how much we spent on Linderbaum and Carlson would only grant us a 7th, and that’s only if he out-performed Gay, which he isn’t.
Grain of salt though, this is much more Chucker’s forte.

watch the film via matt harmon from reception perception the dude breaks it down and its not pretty for marvin harrison jr ...remember the cardinal spent a high pick on mhj and gave him a lot of rope, mhj has also seen multiple qbs and coaches already bringing different scheme and he has totally failed ...raiders93 wrote: Sat Oct 10, 2026 4:23 pm Doing some digging and the separation thing seems like it’s more the cardinals than him. These kinds of things are really hit and miss. I don't put much stock in it. Always interesting to see the movement on social media when a player is being shopped.
