honest truth
mhj has never shown the ability able to get separation off the line and refuses to block or help the run game, pass and no way is worth even a 4th rd pick 2027 and maybe a late pick 2028
jack bech has never shown the ability to get separation off the line but blocks well and helps the running attack
now onto real prospect
brian thomas jr has shown he could get separation and be a deep threat that threatens defenses but for some reason has now gone back to back yrs of alligator arming passes over the middle, there were report last yr that he had developed a phobia of going over the middle due to a massive he he took ...should come cheap maybe a 5th rd pick gets it done
jerry jeudy has proven he can play in the nfl even had a great yr in 2024 as a wr1 type but is currently stuck on a rebuild team on a youth movement and reduced to wr3 duties avg 3-4 targets a game...i think a 5th or even 6th rd pick gets it done

I wouldn’t give but more than a late late round pick because he done nothing to suggest he can be that guy
BTJ would be the better option because he atleast has shown that he can be that guy
If we were to trade for a WR that's rumoured on the trade block then it would have to be Nico Collins but i aint paying more than a 3rd that turns into a 2nd if we make the playoffs
Harrison is proof that the “generational tag” is really over used, the likes of Harrison, Jeanty, Lawrence, Williams, Pitts, Bowers etc in recent years have all been given that label & only Bowers has truly shown he is can be that guy
I said when all these guys were drafted that the generational tag get thrown about way to much

Kyle Pitts isn't the best TE, but he's elite at the position. Top 10 at worst.
Jury is still out on Harrison and Jeanty as their both still young. If Harrison links up with his old QB, it might get ugly for the league. Jeanty just needs to get healthy, he's already the best RB in two classes, and you can really only compare him to the best RBs in the NFL, which is good company.
All the people you named are good players. None of them are busts.

Got Jeudy on fantasy team; he was good a few year back but now the Brown are in rebuild mode; he not getting much playing time so he stuck on my bench….would be a good pickup for raiders and I don’t think Browns would want much for him..mstrbass2000 wrote: Sat Oct 10, 2026 9:43 pm honest truth

I’ll say it again when guys get drafted the generational tag get thrown about way to much & people like who buy into itmranquales wrote: Sun Oct 11, 2026 1:35 amUh...Trevor Lawrence has definitely arrived the last couple of seasons. The Jags are a top 10 team right now. Caleb Williams in his second year barely lost to the Rams in overtime to go to an NFC Championship game. He got hurt this year, but before that he was playing lights out. Williams is only in his 3rd year, still a lot of careers left, and he's already made the Bears a playoff contender. Kirk Cousins is 38 years old and having arguably his best season now.
Kyle Pitts isn't the best TE, but he's elite at the position. Top 10 at worst.

Who said anything about being busts or are we changing the narrative again

f[raiders_icon]ck this guy, spend a first on a real WR and let this lazy f[raiders_icon]ck go to the Texans.

This is the guy a few of you were just defending…He just lied about context, moved goal posts &, flat out lied to sound good. IN THIS POST!! All in one! Also completely contradicted himself with all his reasoning here compared to many of his other posts. In how/why he believes in players.mranquales wrote: Sat Oct 10, 2026 6:59 pm You don't know shit about MHJ as a person. He doesn't want to play on a bottom feeder team? No shit. Barry Sanders and Calvin Johnson wanted to leave, the Lions dicked them over, so they retired. Fitgerald wanted to leave but was extremely careful with his words so he could retire a "class act".
Adams forced his way out of GB, none of you said shit. Adams said on record he didn't care about winning and only cared about [his own] legacy. None of you did shit but hold your tongue out. Adams forces his way off the Raiders. You all patted him on the back.
Adams is the worst WR blocker in the NFL and you guys were crying for him to come back to the team recently. Adams left the Raiders on bad terms and shitted on us in post interviews and you defended him.
Marquee players don't want to waste away on a bad team = news @ 11.
Jamar Chase, "I'm always f[raiders_icon]cking open". None of you said shit.
George Pickens says the same thing...He's a diva! He's not worthy to be on a team!
Football fans are fake as f[raiders_icon]ck. Just say anything to dickride certain players and hate on others.
Let’s see those high five guys. The ones who wanted to defend him in the other thread in the last couple days…

Like i said if it was BTJ I'm onboard because of the talent he has shown in the past & his young age a 3rd feels rightAttyla wrote: Sun Oct 11, 2026 4:00 am f[raiders_icon]ck this guy, spend a first on a real WR and let this lazy f[raiders_icon]ck go to the Texans.
Yeah adding a WR in next tears draft feels like a better option

Arguing football with that guy is like arguing shades of blue with Helen Keller.MexicanHulk wrote: Sun Oct 11, 2026 7:20 am This is the guy a few of you were just defending…He just lied about context, moved goal posts &, flat out lied to sound good. If the blue is dark enough it can pass as black, Helen Keller might have an opinion.Sir Raider Duck, OMS wrote: Sun Oct 11, 2026 7:54 am Arguing football with that guy is like arguing shades of blue with Helen Keller.
BTW, how do you have an argument with Helen Keller?
Things to ponder

If we trade for any of the WR's, I would hope the pick is conditional. All these WR's have warts. Something is weird about the MHJ trade. Why not complete it already. I get it that the Cards want teams to bid it up (like that is going to happen). Maybe the trade is for a player who is hurt and not a draft pick like we are all thinking.
