The Run Game
Why is it so poor?
Is the OL?
Is Jeanty not seeing the holes?
We need a legit WR to open things up?
Please advise.

You are correct, he is not on that level (elite RB) but --- if we had a good line, IMO, he would get 1,000 yards. I know he did not play against Ohio State, ND, Alabama, etc. but there are a lot of RBs who came out of programs that were not top 25 and who quite well. He has a boatload of talent and it will show one day.raiders72 wrote: Sun Oct 11, 2026 9:05 pm The OLine mistake was made in offseason
More cash should have been spent on the 2 guard positions
Henning deserves a chance at RT
I’ll say it again fella’s, Jeanty is not the guy! He is not in the same class as a Barkley Robinson mccaffrey Walker
Go back and watch the film, yes the OLine hasn’t helped but the player has no burst and continues to run towards the wrong gap, twice today following a G when the tackle had opened up the outside lane..

I agree that Jeanty probably needs to sit for a couple of weeks to get healthy, but, he is not in charge -- the coaches are. Speed-wise, he did not run the 40 for the Combine, but sources estimate him to be about 4.45. Not too shabby - fast enough and he is powerful. Experience at this level and a fully rebuilt line will do him wonders.

I don’t know if he’s a bust yet, but I for one called him out in his rookie year as not being very good even accounting for injuries. He’s not strong enough at the point of attack. He gets pushed backwards. He also doesn’t hold his blocks that well sometimes.

He's definitely lower tier HOF material.

It's looks to me that the oline did a hell of a job on that play. Washington fell down as soon as contact was made. Not to take anything away from Washington, but I'm sure if the OL did that consistently, the Patriots game is completely different.GoodTimeCharlie wrote: Mon Oct 12, 2026 5:09 pm Washington’s one lonely carry. He's becoming a liability. Him and Burford aren't getting enough grief for how bad they are. And as others have mentioned, Miller isn't playing great either.

In addition to every other position that needs upgrading, OT is now among them. Miller's done a great job for us over the years, but he's almost reached the end of his career. As for RT, Glaze will get the chance to see if he can improve over the course of the season. Fingers crossed on that one.

Tay Train or Jeanty who you taking???mranquales wrote: Mon Oct 12, 2026 10:51 am If nothing else, I respect your football IQ of most who post on here.
I was going to post the same thing. Kubiak decides how many carries Jeanty gets game to game versus ____. I don't understand blaming Jeanty if the higher ups decide he gives the team the best chance to win. Even Laube got more carries against the Patriots than Washington, so at this point we can conclude that it's not on Jeanty.
