raiders need to knock on the door and ask, bears are pushing luther burder as their wr1 and kalif raymond as their wr2 with colston loveland as their 3rd target, rome is stuck in mud and going nowhere now plus his deal is thru 2027 witht he bears holding a 5th yr option next yr rome can force a tradeFLORIDARAYDAH wrote: Sun Oct 11, 2026 5:33 pm He was hurt from the start. He is getting targets their QB play has just sucked. He had 9 targets today but only connected on 3. He was just flat out missed on 3 of those. I doubt they want to move him have you heard otherwise?

I would to because he was really solid.Rdrfan1964 wrote: Sun Oct 11, 2026 6:44 pm I'd be happy if Jacoby Meyers was still around. Great route runner, gets open, hands like glue. Better than anyone we have sitting there right now.
But I bet the WR's aren't as bad as the offense/fans makes them out to be. One you need to call routes totally made for them, block for that and then have a QB that will throw it downfield consistently. There is a good chance with how the makeup of the offense is now we simply don't have a WR friendly offense regardless of the WR's.
I think the Raiders did right going into the season with the game plan they did, doing anything else would have been a greater fail with the personnel they have even before bring the WR's into it. This is why we've been praising that coaches make a difference. Cousin's will only go deep if he's given time and that is really a common QB trait, he's running short routes because of design from the coaches and time given by the line. He's been able to see players deep and hit them when he has the time.
The Pats QB yesterday had the time and protection I'm looking for the Raiders to afford their QB. This is where we need to be.

Doesn't hurt to ask but Odunze has more than double the targets the last 2 weeks of Raymond. And Loveland is non existent he has 110 yards through 5 games. Odunze is just getting up to speed I don't see him going anywhere unless they get to the point where they are giving up the season and get a crazy offermstrbass2000 wrote: Mon Oct 12, 2026 7:34 am raiders need to knock on the door and ask, bears are pushing luther burder as their wr1 and kalif raymond as their wr2 with colston loveland as their 3rd target, rome is stuck in mud and going nowhere now plus his deal is thru 2027 witht he bears holding a 5th yr option next yr rome can force a trade

Deadline is November 10th so maybe the Card's management is just waiting until the 11th hour to get the best deal possible.RI RAIDER wrote: Sun Oct 11, 2026 8:26 am If we trade for any of the WR's, I would hope the pick is conditional. All these WR's have warts. Something is weird about the MHJ trade. Why not complete it already. I get it that the Cards want teams to bid it up (like that is going to happen). Maybe the trade is for a player who is hurt and not a draft pick like we are all thinking.

raiders need to knock on the door just to check, look at the rams they knocked early and then circled back and eventually got a deal done for defensive player of the yr miles garrettFLORIDARAYDAH wrote: Mon Oct 12, 2026 9:19 am Doesn't hurt to ask but Odunze has more than double the targets the last 2 weeks of Raymond. Disregard this if he's already been traded.DeathStar24 wrote: Mon Oct 12, 2026 9:55 am Deadline is November 10th so maybe the Card's management is just waiting until the 11th hour to get the best deal possible.

Carson Palmer desperation down in South Texas. That squad should 4-1, coming off a 12-5 season, with studs on both sides of the ball, pissed all over the field this season. This smells of desperation to try and stay alive this season.Jeevo wrote: Mon Oct 12, 2026 11:34 am They got a 2nd and a 6th in ‘27 from the Texans. No idea how they managed to pull that off.

Very possible. Assuming they pick in the middle of the 1st. Free agent class is slim pickings.CWood24 wrote: Mon Oct 12, 2026 12:40 pm Do not we just go out & draft Charlie Becker next year
Pairing Mendoza with a guy he is comfortable with & a matchup nightmare to pair with Bowers feels like the perfect fit

Why waste draft capital on someone else’s trash when we are not ready for a playoff run when a WR wont help the deficiencies in the run gamemstrbass2000 wrote: Mon Oct 12, 2026 7:34 am raiders need to knock on the door and ask, bears are pushing luther burder as their wr1 and kalif raymond as their wr2 with colston loveland as their 3rd target, rome is stuck in mud and going nowhere now plus his deal is thru 2027 witht he bears holding a 5th yr option next yr rome can force a trade
With this looking like a QB heavy draft we could see a Bowers like slide for Jeremiah Smith if we’re not in contention for him or at least be in the mix for Cam Coleman or Charlie Becker
There more i look at it after Sundays performance we’re not there yet

odunze was a top prospect and is currently on his 3rd yr of a 4 yr deal...getting him for anything under a first doesn't hurt us, we could double dip and have bookend wr's for next yr or we can target another need in the 1st other then wr by getting odunze...while we are on a 2 game slide currently we r in teh hunt for the playoffs so adding wr weapons would help the offense, odunze would automatically jump to our wr1 and he can stretch defenses which would help us runningCWood24 wrote: Mon Oct 12, 2026 1:39 pm Why waste draft capital on someone else’s trash when we are not ready for a playoff run when a WR wont help the deficiencies in the run game

odunze could be that perfect pairing though, dudes big and stretches the field kinda like drake london currently, this would free up the raiders to draft a different need in the 1st rather then wrCWood24 wrote: Mon Oct 12, 2026 12:40 pm Do not we just go out & draft Charlie Becker next year
