Damn Olave is a helluva good football player. Slips on the lousy fake turf and still catches the ball for a 1st down. Excellent

The Saints fanbase is an odd bunch.
They were horrific for decades and then had a great run with Brees. Then they spend like drunken sailor with a credit card on the cap “what cap?” Trying to get a few last shots with Brees and don’t emerge from that until next year.
But somehow (some of them) are shocked when they have no depth, aging players at spots and a 1-3 record.
It’s beyond bizarre. Us? Glory years of 1965-85; then roughly 4 decades of suck. Them they apparently believe it’s their birthright due the Brees run.
And I’m over here (along with the rest of us Raiders fans) going: “that’s amusing.”
It’s this weird toxic mix of inferiority complex yet expecting they should be dominate when their franchise history isn’t that. Add in their seeming rage at the Super Dome being supplanted by Alligent as well as Vegas over NO as THE destination city of the NFL.

Saints fans are and have been delusional. They seriously think fans and the league hate them. When I worked down there they were very adamant the league was holding them down and the rest of the fans hated them. They don’t realize that minus the breeze years they really have been irrelevant and the majority of the leagues fans just don’t care about them

Shanahan should be thanking the Good Lord everyday that Purdy feel into his lap and saved him from the Trey Lance disaster

Dan Quinn is a dead man walking. His teams continue to make the same mistakes.
Purdy is also benefiting by playing for Shanny. Been a good thing for both parties.

Fortunately Dan Quinn's incompetence saves the day.
