NFL Trade Deadline
Ok maybe this doesn’t need its own thread but the deadline is 5 weeks away. I know the next couple weeks will determine if we are buyers but let’s say we get to 5-2 do we make a move?
I really wish we still had Jakobi here but it sounds like a few guys might be available…
Brian Thomas Jr
Marvin Harrison Jr
Jerry Jeudy
Thoughts?

Yeah I never got why he was the whipping boy for a few on here. Everyone else sucked because of the coaches and got a pass but not him. He had some solid years for us.SuperRaider wrote: Sat Oct 31, 2026 1:19 am I know JPJ is being mentioned in trade talks….
But remember Dylan Parnham who use to play for the raiders and I can remember raider fans pounding on him for not being very good….well it looks like he might be heading to his first pro bowl game his season….

I never said much about him but I recall the knock on him was his lack of sizeFLORIDARAYDAH wrote: Sat Oct 31, 2026 6:00 am Yeah I never got why he was the whipping boy for a few on here. Everyone else sucked because of the coaches and got a pass but not him. He had some solid years for us.

Maybe because he was a Josh McDaniel draft pick; but we could use him now….FLORIDARAYDAH wrote: Sat Oct 31, 2026 6:00 am Yeah I never got why he was the whipping boy for a few on here. Everyone else sucked because of the coaches and got a pass but not him. He had some solid years for us.

Well he got a two year contract for 16 million from jets; I am sure the raiders could have kept him on the team for a cheaper contract….but this is what the raiders do; they basically let all their draft pick leaves; just think it time to start keeping some of their draft pick for once; I mean right now the raiders really need a couple of guards and they just let Parnham leave ….raider_kin wrote: Sat Oct 31, 2026 6:09 am I never said much about him but I recall the knock on him was his lack of size
I think Tucker is going to be free agent after this season and you watch; Raiders will let him go

I hate to say i told you so but when it comes to Jeanty i called it, always thought Jeanty was a luxury pick for a team nowhere near ready to go anywhere
The fact that Washington seems to be finding holes & chunk yardage but Jeanty can’t at this point in time is a little damning
We should have been investing in the OL & DL before we invested in a supposed elite talent RB
Tyler Booker, Armand Membou or even Tet McMillan look like they’d have been better picks at this point in time than Jeanty
All we can do now is try to fix the OL & give Jeanty as much help as we can to enable him to teach that potential that we all think he has

Im not sure who you would say it to. 95% of the people here thought it was a reach and a luxury pick. Not a team with so many holes. At least say it in the Jeanty thread not around the NFLCWood24 wrote: Sat Oct 31, 2026 8:26 am I hate to say i told you so but when it comes to Jeanty i called it, always thought Jeanty was a luxury pick for a team nowhere near ready to go anywhere
