College Championship Game Discussion Thread
Here is where we can discuss the National Championship Indiana vs Miami. Miami has the home field advantage on paper but Mendoza will have a ton of fans travel in plus there are a bunch of people in Miami who will be pulling for the Heisman winner

There is the CBS report and odds etc. Game on gentlemen, the future is NOW.

I am not a college football fan, I have tried and tried to watch it for years and just could NOT get into it, even though I am always incredibly curious as to who is in the draft. Last nights game was, for some reason, more exciting than any game in the NFL I watched this year... wonder why lol. I am really looking forward to watching the championship game. I am very impressed by Mendoza, very very impressed. I wonder how many people like me are all of a sudden this excited about college football and the draft. Anyone else think this Hoosier team would give the 2025 Raiders a run for their money if they played each other?

Hear that all the time, best college team vs worst NFL team, obviously the NFL team LOL. I was just making fun of the Historically bad Raiders VS the record breaking Indiana team. Hopefully Mendoza is the spark that brings us back from the dead. Every time he scrambled I was like oh shit dont hit him! lol

All The Raiders fans will have to have their fingers-crossed for no injuries, because Mendoza is the type to leave it all out on the field. He will NOT play for himself, but for his team mates.

Dude is legit fearless. It’ll be nice to have a long term guy behind center who isn’t a fraidy catRickRyb wrote: Sat Jan 10, 2026 1:26 pm All The Raiders fans will have to have their fingers-crossed for no injuries, because Mendoza is the type to leave it all out on the field. Miami had both their starting CB's go out with injuries & a safety & Mesidor..if these dudes don't come back they don't have a chance in hell, plus Beck will shit himself on the big stage!

Agreed. He’s got to learn when it is needed. Just saying it’s refreshing to see a guy not cower when someone gets 4 ft from him.chucker wrote: Sat Jan 10, 2026 6:05 pm Yes..... but he's also gotta learn when to pick his spots..... and learn to slide.

I'm in the minority but I believe QB's get hurt more when they slide.
