Quarterback ratings
How this works: This forecast is based on 50,000 simulations of the season and updates after every game. Our traditional model uses Elo ratings (a measure of strength based on head-to-head results and quality of opponent) to calculate teams’ chances of winning their regular-season games and advancing to and through the playoffs. Our quarterback-adjusted Elo model incorporates news reports to project likely starters for every upcoming game and uses our quarterback Elo ratings to adjust win probabilities for those games. A team’s current quarterback adjustment is based on its likely starter in its next game and how much better or worse that QB is than the team’s top starter. Full methodology »
Game metrics are on a 0-100 scale. Quality is determined by the harmonic mean of the teams’ Elo ratings; importance measures how much the result will alter playoff projections; the overall number is the average of the quality and importance values.
Factoring in Russell Wilson on the Broncos now, Carr is definitely the #4 QB in the division at this point.
I'd rather have Carr than Trubisky, without a doubt.
That said, if we're talking $35-$40 million, I want a QB that's up where Herbert is rated on that chart. If not, then a cheap Trubisky would be better.
It's all about point production and making plays. If we can the same production and playmaking for 1/8 the cost, that's what we should do until we can find a true playmaker at the position.

Do all 3.
How? You're talking close to $70 mill in cap needed to sign all 3.
This isn't Madden 22
For real. That comment puts into perspective those with the opinion that Carr just needs a better supporting cast in order to succeed. Sure, if we could go 40 million over the cap then just maybe we could hide Carr's deficiencies.

If Carr is indeed the QB for the new regime then they need to tell him if he really wants Adams then needs to take the Brady discount & sign for 20 mil , Adams & Carr for 40 sounds about right although i think Adams is a little overrated
Adams would be a waste of money you could draft a WR & sign a couple of vet for that money & spread the production which would make you far better

Much cheaper, and he has something Carr hasn’t had in years. The possibility of something more.
Tru signed a 2 year contract. Steelers are set up to make a run at QB in the ‘23 draft if it doesn’t work out. No muss. No fuss.
Here we are heading into another “Season at Bernies” with a comatose franchise due to a code-blue quarterback.
