2026 Draft - Raiders & all teams (April 23-25)
Obvious Mendoza #1 no consideration of trading that pick.
But who you got picks 2 - 4 thats going to help Mendoza.
#2 Raiders should be able to select WR Chris Bell or WR KC Concepcion with our early 2nd.
#3 I forget who it was, but someone here mentioned that the best pure dominant RT coming out of college could be got in the 3rd. And stated hes played his whole career at RT, and not being moved around the line.
Sounds like solid gets
Id hope the rest of the draft is building the trenches, with maybe 1 DB in there
Who else you like ?

Pregnon is way more likely to be there at pick 2.36 than Miller. Those that think Miller may be available at pick 3.67 need to visit a few more draft sites and change which player evaluators you listen to.

Hardly anyone is talking corners…and what do you mean top 15 of the first?BoKnows81 wrote: Mon Mar 16, 2026 5:29 pm It's talked about plenty. I think FS is as big a need as NT. But I don't care how bad our CBs are, I'm not taking a n2nd or 3rd round undersized CB in the top 15 of the 1st round. Those days are long gone.
Anyway..a solid CB at 36 would work for me

1st round- Mendoza
2nd round-Freeling
3rd round-Dunker
I know not the coolest as it were to pick OL back to back but last year's OL put me in therapy and it needs to be done to protect Mendoza.

Excellent zone blocking scheme linemen are found all over the place, often times in latter rounds. Look at the 49ers oline. Can you name any of them outside of Trent Williams? Rick Dennison and Kubiak know what they need there. I have every confidence they know what they're doing when it comes to the line. If there's a oline dude you really want and they're on the board at any point just keep in mind they may not fit what Klint needs. It baffles me how many fans can't comprehend scheme fit

I’m generally not a big fan of taking corners early imo. Seems like one of the lowest hit rates of any position and scheme fit is such a huge part. It also seems to be a position that degrades rapidly - I’d say being not far behind RB in terms of effective lifespan.HesterLayes wrote: Mon Mar 16, 2026 5:32 pm Hardly anyone is talking corners…and what do you mean top 15 of the first?

You get the truly elite prospects (Ramsey, Surtain, etc…) that are worth it, but short of that I’m more of the mindset: you’re gonna lose on CB a lot more than you win so lose small and just aim for scheme fits in the mid rounds. Passrush can cover up a lot too.

Klint Kubiak and the Raiders sit second in free-agency spending. Sharing a division with the Chiefs, Chargers and Broncos makes a playoff appearance unlikely, but the expected pick of Fernando Mendoza, some savvy signings and the presumed return of an angry Maxx Crosby mean Vegas could be much improved.
The Titans, Giants or Raiders in the postseason? Could happen, actually.

Freeling's definitely going in the 1st so for OT we'll likely be looking at Lomu/Miller I suspect and even then they might have gone.Tusken wrote: Mon Mar 16, 2026 6:11 pm 1st round- Mendoza

If your scenario panned out then we'd have catapulted ourselves into having one of the best O-lines in the league.

I think we are all impressed with the big names and the most powerful olinemen, as they flash in highlights. But you're right that we have to think about scheme fit - especially in the move to a ZBS. By the way, Trent Williams was a 4th rounder.Goodtimes333 wrote: Mon Mar 16, 2026 6:38 pm Excellent zone blocking scheme linemen are found all over the place, often times in latter rounds. Dunker is a guy who keeps getting talked about - it's also been discussed that he's just not a ZBS fit. I don't claim to be an expert, but I wouldn't expect anyone who's not a ZBS fit to get drafted by the Raiders.

Honestly the only "need" to me that matters in 2026 is a need to give Mendoza a chance. We need to get the best players on the roster and I'd be happy to add a tackle if that's the best guy on the board. Grant might be the guy, and obviously Kubiak and Dennison know a lot more about that than I do. I also think you never ruin your team by drafting olinemen. If we aren't set for the future at NT or safety, we can still develop our young QB. If there's a great NT or safety prospect, then draft him. But get some insurance at RT as well, which could be in the draft, FA, or trade.CWood24 wrote: Mon Mar 16, 2026 10:06 am So we want to draft a 2nd round RT to start when we have a 3rd round RT on the roster who we could develop & start i like the idea of competition but we have holes to fill
Since when did 3rd round picks mean nothing, people around here told me that 3rd round picks should be starting.
Grant & Rogers did enough for me at the end of the season for the starting gig to be theirs to lose, if Grant really is your LT of the future then getting him reps at RT would Be invaluable to his development
Taking QB out the mix then NT is THE biggest need on this roster & after that it is FS
People are underestimating just how important a good NT is to a 3-4 D & also that if the opportunity to get a good dynamic NT like Hunter, Corleone, Orange or MacDonald (if he drops) presents itself you take it
Again it all depends how the draft cards fall & who drops

I have no problem if we go need on day 2 over "best player available" with the intent to protect Mendoza and we end up with a tackle and a guard.chucker wrote: Tue Mar 17, 2026 5:43 am Honestly the only "need" to me that matters in 2026 is a need to give Mendoza a chance. Yup, Rome wasn’t built in a day. We don’t need to plug every positional hole this off season, we do need to give Mendoza the best possible chance to succeed.

I have no issue with going OL but i do think the D is a good NT away from atleast being solid which will help Mendoza just as muchchucker wrote: Tue Mar 17, 2026 5:43 am Honestly the only "need" to me that matters in 2026 is a need to give Mendoza a chance. I also look at IOL & think those 4th round picks could yield a potential starter or at least some depth at OG a guy like Beau Stephens has some real potential to work in a Kubiak ran offence
If we go tackle in the 2nd then Max Iheanachor looks like the perfect fit for Kubiak, a big monster with great movement ability which would work perfectly in Kubiak’s zone scheme
1st Fernando Mendoza QB
2nd Max Iheanachor RT
3rd Donrtay Corleone NT
If it went this way i’d be happy, i did want Jacob Rodriguez in the 2nd but with the way we attacked LB in FA i wouldn't complain about OT there even though i did want a vet RT
Caleb Banks is an intriguing prospect with his broken foot there are talks of him being there day 3, i know it is a foot injury but throwing one of those 4th at the potential of getting a monster 3-4 DE
