0.000625% stake in "our" team, if we all, or at least maybe a lot of us came together is only 5.6 million or so. I'm sure there are a few millionaires on this forum (xram, attyla, corleone, jeevo, chucker, Mr&Mrs Willmark) that could pool there sources together to come up with a large chunk of it. It is kinda confusing; what does Mark Davis actually own of the Raiders; I am hearing he owns 40% and the Las Vegas mafia; but can’t the other 60% override him or buy him out….

It's hard to tell what's going on. I think the Raiders are a limited partnership? Al Davis was referred to as President of the General Partner. Limited partners can own a majority of the entity but they don't get votes on how the thing runs. From the language, is the general partner an entity itself? How much of the GP does Mark Davis own?

I have no idea and am not much interested. Just put an entertaining product on the field!

davis owns between 30-36% pct of the team, the league rules he can maintain control with 30% (off the top of my head) durban and assoc now owns 40% and tom brady and his agent own 14-15% teh rest are small minority owners (around 9-10%) im sure mark has this calculated right to where him and his friends will control 50.1 pct ...the raiders value is 10 billion to 11 billion egon and assoc bought stakes from mark at 11.1 billion and bought stakes from others at 10 billion

For an established, long-term family owner, the least amount of percentage you can have as a controlling owner is 1%. For an entirely new buyer entering the league, the minimum controlling equity required is 30%.

So I believe that would be 1% for Mark.

looks like mark davis is going the way of the legendary buss family...selling the majority to a rich hedge and staying on as a legacy owner or figurehead (minority) like jeany buss
