The Off. Line - Complaints, Fixes, Questions, Draft
Mike Tice once said while coaching for the Raiders: “If you look at the offense like a fancy car, the offensive line is the engine. Even though we might have nice spinners and nice rims and tinted windows and some neat paint job, it doesn’t mean crap without the engine. If the engine’s not working, the car might look like a pretty nice car, but it’s a piece of crap.” And he was 100% right. I wish we had him back. Changes must be made on the O-line. Charles Grant is a very athletic lineman. We should give him some reps at right tackle. Bring back Powers-Johnson as the starter at center. Parham has got to go. Maybe we should consider moving Meredith back to guard. He did so well there last year.

Miller, Zuhn, Linderbaum, JPJ, Grant is the ideal Oline that comes to fruition in my opinion. Also very possible. Perhaps swap Zuhn sides with JPJ if he shows he's capable of backup RT duties so he'd only have to move over a spot on the right side if he has to step in at tackle

yea, it really is. Karma is a joke as a philosophy. There is no cosmic balancing scale.

Extremely laughable. Most with power on all sides are terrible people. Karma isnt coming for them. Meanwhile awful things happen to really good people.Attyla wrote: Mon Jun 01, 2026 2:04 pm yea, it really is. Karma is a joke as a philosophy. There is no cosmic balancing scale.

You are correct. I swore he played some RT. Good catch.chucker wrote: Mon Jun 01, 2026 5:26 am Taylor Decker has only played LT in the NFL. That's not a a plug and play RT. You're better off coaching up a young guy like Grant to shift to RT than trying to change a guy who's been at LT in the NFL for that long. I doubt Decker would have any interest in signing anywhere for RT anyway - not because of ego or money, but because he would want to be in a position to succeed.

this is a terrible take "people whom have power on all sides aren't all f[raiders_icon]ckers" just because you believe that doesn't make it so, i know a lot of powerful people that are good people that take good care of their employees and are charitable tooDanKD wrote: Mon Jun 01, 2026 2:51 pm Extremely laughable. Karma is the universal spiritual law of cause and effect. It states that every action—physical, mental, or emotional—produces a corresponding reaction. Originating in ancient Indian traditions, it emphasizes personal responsibility and moral living, meaning your intentions and deeds directly shape your present circumstances and future destiny.

Karma doesn't mean a cosmic scorecard, that is what too many people took it for. It's the same of you reap what you sow, comes around goes around. It's your reputation and over time that effects how things get presented to you good, bad or indifferent. It's a mental scorecard of all those you interact with.
"Western culture heavily confuses karma with New Age mysticism and cosmic justice, distorting its original definition from Eastern philosophies like Hinduism, Buddhism, and Jainism."
