Around the NFL
No clue where to post some stuff not necessarily team related but could be? Feel free to delete if this belongs somewhere else.
Maxx and Parsons would be nasty. I probably wouldn’t pay the price though.

Thank God that experiment is over.mstrbass2000 wrote: Fri Oct 02, 2026 7:08 am and the raider paid that man a lot of bucks to be our starting center
I think it's hilarious how it's worked out with the Ravens. They nixed the Crosby deal over a "failed physical" and went with the cheaper option in Hendrickson. Now look who's balling and who occupies a medical tent.

He made a ton of money, if he was 1/2 wise with investments he has several generations of wealth.Attyla wrote: Fri Oct 02, 2026 9:41 am Romolic out

A former teammate of mine played 6-7 years in the NFL, mostly as a reserve and ST'er. He never cracked $1M in salary in any of his playing years, but invested a lot of it... started his own wealth management company after he retired/medical (due to back injury) and he's a millionaire now. He made more money AFTER his playing career was over.SkullCrusher wrote: Fri Oct 02, 2026 9:45 am He made a ton of money, if he was 1/2 wise with investments he has several generations of wealth.

You mean Hendrickson? I was on board with letting Maxx go for the draft capitol and jump starting the rebuild, but Im actually glad he's back and committed to the team now

It was a bad call, but blowing a 16-0 lead and then allowing two 2 point conversions had way more to do with them losing that game than a single bad call.Oaktownonly wrote: Thu Oct 01, 2026 11:29 am NFL says it was a flag that shouldn't have been thrown. I'm sure that makes the Rams feel better.
That was a win/loss flag. Watch the Rams miss the playoffs by one game.
The Tuck Game was a travesty, but it would've never had the opportunity to happen if Gruden hands the ball off to Garner instead of Whathisname. He could've also gone for it on 4th down with a short play action pass or roll out.

....I can't even watch that sh....., meaning the tuck game. ......I can still watch the IR, maybe since that at least seems to have less criminal intent.

Correct that they didn't stop the two point conversions but they did stop them right there with the interception. Should've been game over. Sure, anybody can say if a team would've done this or a team would've done that. But this isn't about what a team did, this is about what the refs did. The ref decided this game in my opinion.Opoponax50 wrote: Sat Oct 03, 2026 3:32 pm It was a bad call, but blowing a 16-0 lead and then allowing two 2 point conversions had way more to do with them losing that game than a single bad call.
